God’s love, REAL LOVE, is unlike what the world calls love. You could spend your entire life unpacking the biblical definition of love provided in 1 Corinthians 13:4-7. While you may be familiar with the verses, they are far more critical than something to read at weddings or a framed needlepoint on the wall! This passage contains fifteen components of the SOLUTION, how to create and maintain excellent relationships, and the antidote to self-serving attitudes.

Love suffers long and is kind; love does not envy; love does not parade itself, is not puffed up; does not behave rudely, does not seek its own, is not provoked, thinks no evil; does not rejoice in iniquity, but rejoices in the truth; bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. Love never fails. – I Corinthians 13: 4-8.

Some theologians think that the first two elements, suffering long and kindness, are the primary components of the passage, with the following thirteen classified under one or the other.
