Excellent Guidelines and Tools When Confessing

It is difficult to confess to another person about how you hurt them, so here are some guidelines and tools when confessing. Here are three excellent resources to help you follow through with confessing to someone you hurt.

  1. Six Guidelines When Confessing to Others
  2. Meeting Guidelines (with scriptures)
  3. The 4 A's of Apology

The Six Guidelines are Right Attitude, Right Words, Right Method, Right Time, Right Communication Style, and Right Guidelines. The Meeting Guidelines are a completely separate document because it is something for you and the other person if they want it.

Finally, the 4 A's of Apology are excellent for those who have an aversion to the word confession. It is a secular approach that is simple, practical, and applicable.
